My school is situated in the center of the city, near the river. It usually takes me fifteen minutes to get there on foot. The building isn’t big, there are four floors in it.
There aren’t many classrooms on the ground floor, because our cloakrooms and canteen are situated there. The canteen is big. I like the menu, but sometimes my friends and I go to a fast-food stand outside the school.
Most of the classrooms are situated on the first and second floors. We have mathematics classrooms, where pupils study algebra and geometry.
We also have a science classroom. There are posters with outstanding physicists and other scientists on the wall. We have natural sciences lessons there like physics, biology and chemistry. We use microscopes and experimental equipment for laboratory works at these lessons.
Geography lessons are taught on the third floor. We are often asked to use a pointer to show something on a map.
We have our gym on the fourth floor. PE lessons are given there. The gym is large, it has big windows. The windows face the river. I like doing exercises and enjoy the beautiful view.
